Willie Hallihan is a life-long resident of the Northwest corner of Connecticut. He has always loved all that the tri-state area has to offer and cherishes the friendships that seem to come so easily with rural living. Willie is a long time board member of Salisbury Winter Sports Association. This website is a melding of Willie’s interests in both sports and local causes.

The Travelers Championship will be held June 20 - 23, 2019 at TPC River Highlands, Cromwell, CT 06416. Arguably the best field of golfers short of a major (minus Tiger) will be playing there this year. The Wild Thing 5K/10K 5K Walk Trail Race will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, 472 West Mountain Road, Lenox, MA 01240. The races both begin and end at the sanctuary grounds. There will be a 5K run, a 10K run and a 5K guided walk. The event caps at 300 entries so pre-registration is advised. The Berkshire Bike N Fly Bike Ride will be held Saturday, June 23, 2019 at the Great Barrington Airport, 70 Egremont Rd., Great Barrington, MA 01230. This non-competitive bike ride, co-sponsored by the Great Barrington Rotary Club and Great Barrington Airport is part of the Berkshire Bike N Fly Festival.
