Wonders of Winter, an unprecedented show of winter-themed art by 34 artists will be held in Salisbury, CT, opening on Saturday, December 14th and running through February 9, 2020. Walkway Day at Marist College will be held Saturday, January 19, 2020 at the McCann Arena, Marist College, 3399 North Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. The event runs from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. Although this not a sports-related fundraiser per se, the event, which features a Marist vs. Iona College basketball game, will raise awareness about the Walkway Over The Hudson, which is the site of many sports-related fundraisers throughout the year. The Officials vs. Cancer Crusade will be held January 20 - 26, 2020 throughout Litchfield County Connecticut ( Burlington, CT, which is in Hartford County, is also included). The annual event is sponsored by the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials (IAABO). The Litchfield County chapter is IAABO Board 7. The Norfolk Curling Club Ice Box Open Bonspiel will be held Thursday, January 23 through Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Norfolk Curling Club, 70 Golf Drive, Norfolk, CT 06058. Shannon Zwick is the Buildspiel chairperson . This is an open bonspiel- teams can be made up of any gender combination of four. Come cheer on the Junior Jumpers on the 20 and 30 meter hills. Their competition begins at 10am.
Our big jump competitors begin praticing at 11am and competition begins at 1pm.
Enjoy the warming bonfires around the grounds, Lagunitas beer and great food at the Cook Shack!
