The Northwest CT YMCA Reset Challenge will take place starting February 1, 2021 and running through mid March. Organized and sponsored by the Northwest CT YMCA, the free six-week long program is “designed to strengthen your spirit, mind and body”. The Bill Solan Annual Ice Fishing Derby has been canceled for 2021. The event has been sponsored by the Northwest CT Rod and Gun Club. The Club also sponsors weekly Sunday Ham Shoots through March 28th. Find out more »

The Polar Plunge Massachusetts events have gone virtual and will be held over a six-week span, February 20 through March 28, 2021. The Lake Waramaug Polar Bear Run was canceled this year. It was supposed to run on February 21, 2021, but canceled because of the pandemic. But organizers still encourage participants and supporters to donate to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, the benefiting Charity of the Polar Bear Run.
